This market will resolve to "Yes" if a Western team beats a team from the LCK, LPL, or LCP in a best-of-five series during the 2026 League of Legends World Championship (Worlds 2026), currently scheduled for October 15 to November 14, 2026. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A Western team is a team that qualified for the tournament through the LEC (Europe / EMEA), the LCS (North America), or the CBLOL (Brazil). Teams that qualified through the LCK (South Korea), the LPL (China), or the LCP (Asia-Pacific) are not Western teams. Only best-of-five series count toward this market; best-of-one and best-of-three matches, tiebreakers, and showmatches do not count. A team beats another team in a best-of-five series only if it wins the series (three game wins); individual game wins within a series that the team loses do not count. Play-In Stage series count toward this market, as do Knockout Stage series. If the results of Worlds 2026 are not determined by November 28, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the tournament is canceled or postponed past that date, this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, Riot Games, via the LoL Esports website (https://lolesports.com). However, a consensus of credible reporting (e.g., Liquipedia at https://liquipedia.net/leagueoflegends/World_Championship/2026) may also be used.
